The primary purpose of the Entrepreneurship Division in the Academy of Management is to encourage professional scholarship pertaining to the study of entrepreneurship within domestic and international environments and organizations. In its annual conference, the AoM Entrepreneurship Division sponsors the following:
1) Over two days of specialized programming and workshops on education, research and professional issues.
2) A four-day, research-oriented program of paper presentations, poster sessions, and symposia by some of the top researchers in the field at the annual National Meeting of the Academy of Management.
3) A doctoral consortium providing advanced Ph.D. students in entrepreneurship extensive and intensive exposure to leading entrepreneurship researchers and educators, as well as the state-of-the-art issues in entrepreneurship research, teaching and careers.
