Emmy Sobieski, CFA, is the chief operating officer of Competitive Storytelling, Inc., which helps venture-backed founders from seed and beyond tell their story through methods such as the Founder Fundraising Program. Sobieski is also author of the book $100M Careers: The 5 Fastest Paths to Wealth Beyond Your Wildest Dreams, released in December 2022. She ran the Nicholas Applegate Global Technology Fund, the No. 1 fund in 1999, and has 25 years of experience as a professional technology investor working for funds of various sizes and strategies. In the past five years, she has taken on executive, co-founder, and advisory roles at multiple technology startups and hedge funds.

Sobieski has an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in economics from the University of California, San Diego. She was ninth in the 2005 U.S. World Cup Trials in Dressage, and has been nationally ranked in bodybuilding, track and field, and dressage. She has also placed in the top three for her age group in both marathons and ultramarathons.
