Tim Brown is the creative vision behind Allbirds, the sustainability-focused shoe company he co-founded in 2015. His experience as a World Cup soccer player for New Zealand led him to think about things on a grand scale, whether that be crafting shoes or running a business. Allbirds raised more than $200 million in venture capital and IPOed on the NASDAQ exchange in November 2021. Brown earned a BS in design from the University of Cincinnati before playing professional soccer, followed by a master’s in management from the London School of Economics.
