Lisa Dyson, founder and CEO, Air Protein

Dr. Lisa Dyson is the founder and CEO of Air Protein, a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer company that is reinventing how food is produced in order to sustainably feed the global population, which is estimated to reach 10 billion people by 2050. Air Protein uses an innovative process that makes meat from elements of the air. Dyson is also the founder of Kiverdi, a biotechnology company working with corporations to make the circular economy a reality by creating products and systems using the science of carbon transformation.
While a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, Dyson worked with executives of Fortune 100 companies to help them solve business challenges. Dyson has a PhD in Physics from MIT, where she conducted research in theoretical physics. She was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of London, where she received an MS in physics, and she has degrees in mathematics and physics from Brandeis University. She has also done research in bioengineering, physics and energy at Stanford University, the University of California, Berkeley, Princeton University, the University of California, San Francisco, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories.
