Naming the Company

Tim Choi, Voltage Security

Voltage was originally named Identi-Crypt. After receiving feedback that this named conjured up thoughts of graveyards and morgues, they made the decision to change it. They like 'Voltage' because it was short and catchy, but it was already taken. After considering some other alternatives, they realized they had to have 'Voltage' and were able to negotiate a deal to use it.
